World War One Education Day

Fall: Tuesday, October 8 & Wednesday, October 9, 2024 (Registration opens September 9)
Spring: Tuesday, April 29, 2025 (Registration opens February 12)

**Please note that depending on demand we may open a second date for each event on the Wednesday.

This unique full-day, multi-school event provides students a chance to explore World War One through a series of interactive learning stations. Through active participation students will make a personal connection with the “Great War” and leave with an understanding of how it affected the lives of people overseas and at home.

Full Day Event- $15.00 per student

  • Program Schedule: 9:45 am Arrival & 1:30 pm Departure

    • Includes a series of stations delivered by History Matters Association over the course of the day.

    • There is a short lunch in the middle of the day. Please ensure students bring a lunch with them. There is NOT a place to purchase food onsite.

  • Pre-registration is required.  Limited Spaces available. 

    • Chaperones and Teachers are free.
