The Trillium Community Gallery is located inside the Spriet Family Visitor Centre* at Fanshawe Pioneer Village.

(*The Spriet Family Visitor Centre is the large red building just outside the Heritage Village. This building acts as the Administration Building and has the gallery inside.)

Exploring the rich history of tools and trades in London and Middlesex County through objects, images and stories from the Fanshawe Pioneer Village historical archives and permanent collection.

Freedom for All

2024 marks the 190th anniversary of the Slavery Abolition Act coming into effect, which began the process of freeing enslaved people across the British Empire, including those in Canada. This exhibit explores the process of enacting Emancipation, and its impact on early Black Communities in the London area.
