Girl Guide Programming
Discover Life in the 19th Century
Spend the day at the Village and experience the past in a unique way with your Girl Guide Unit!
Plan a Visit to the Village
Our Education Coordinator will help leaders plan an interactive visit to the Village that best suits each group’s needs and interests.
Groups can select either a half day program (2-3 activities) or a full day program (4-6 activities).
Prices vary depending on length of program.
Offered onsite from May to early November. Subject to staff availability.
Onsite programs are available for booking:
During museum operating hours. (We are not able to book programs on FPV special event days.)
On local PD days
Or on a limited number of evenings in September.
Contact our Education Coordinator for more information.
During the program units will be led by costumed staff through various homes and buildings, as they participate in hands-on activities and explore Canada’s past, while learning a variety of heritage skills. By working with our Education Coordinator, leaders can help choose activities that meet their group’s interests and needs.
This program was originally designed and delivered to meet the requirements for the Heritage Home Skills Badge, Heritage Badge, and the Provincial/Territorial Heritage Badge.
