Fanshawe Pioneer Village is a living history museum located on 46 acres of land within the Fanshawe Conservation Area in London, Ontario. Our museum explores 100 years of history in London and Middlesex County from 1820 to 1920, through hands-on demonstrations and third-person interpretation.

“So we hope we can continue showing, year by year, the development of London as it grew or as any village in the district grew.”

-Wilfrid Jury

The Village is divided into four sections, or time periods, which allows you to travel through time as you visit. These include:

  • Fanshawe Settlement 1820-1840

  • Fanshawe Corners 1850-1880

  • Fanshawe Township 1880-1910

  • Town of Fanshawe 1910-1920

We also have a variety of gardens, farmland, and natural space throughout the Village grounds.
