Métis Dot Art Workshop (Beginner) 1:00-2:00 p.m.
Dot Art is a contemporary art form inspired by Métis beadwork where beads are replaced by small dots of colourful paint. Dot Art was first used in the Métis context by artist Christi Belcourt. The Métis people are well known for their floral beadwork, which is used to decorate clothing, bags and other items.
Participants will learn about Dot Art and create their own painted rocks to take home!
