Celebrating Community
Kindergarten, Grade 1
This program is designed to introduce younger students to life in 19th century communities through hands-on interactive activities. Students will learn about the responsibilities of children in the 1800s, as they help with daily chores. Once the hard work is done they will learn about dancing and how communities celebrated.
Half Day Program - $8.00 per student
Choose either an AM Session or a PM Session
AM Session: 9:45 am Arrival & 11:35 am Departure
PM Session: 11:45 am Arrival & 1:30 pm Departure
Half Day Program includes 3 learning stations delivered by our Museum Educators.
If you would like to stay for lunch onsite (before or after your session) please ask at booking.
Program Capacity: Up to 3 classes (approximately 60-75 students)
Chaperones and Teachers are free.
Full Day Program - $14.00 per student
Grade 1 Only
Full Day: 9:45 am Arrival & 1:30 pm Departure
Program includes 6 learning stations delivered by our Museum Educators.
A short lunch break is scheduled into the middle of the day.
Program Capacity: Up to 3 classes (approximately 60-75 students)
Chaperones and Teachers are free.
