A Day in the Life

Grades 2, 3

**Designed for Grade 2, 3 curriculum, but can be delivered to Grade 6 as well.

In the 1800s, the village was a busy and productive place. This program offers students the opportunity to experience the hard work expected of children and villagers in the past. Visit the log house, learn 19th century skills, watch an apprentice work, role-play in the one room school, and discover the importance of community. During their visit students will learn about rural life in this region, while examining how life has changed.
