World War One Education Day
Grade 8 to Highschool
Spring Event:
Tuesday, April 30 & Wednesday, May 1, 2024
Presented in partnership with History Matters Association
This unique full-day, multi-school event provides students a chance to explore World War One through a series of interactive learning stations. Through active participation students will make a personal connection with the “Great War” and leave with an understanding of how it affected the lives of people overseas and at home.
Full Day Event- $14.00 per student
Program Schedule: 9:45 am Arrival & 1:30 pm Departure
Includes a series of stations delivered by History Matters Association over the course of the day.
There is a short lunch in the middle of the day. Please ensure students bring a lunch with them. There is NOT a place to purchase food onsite.
Pre-registration is required. Limited Spaces available.
Chaperones and Teachers are free.
