Replica Built 1960

Example of mercantile businesses located in a Middlesex County town, 1910 - 1920.

The replica “storefronts” at Fanshawe Pioneer Village represent one of founding curator Wilfrid Jury’s special projects and were intended to display impressive artifact collections already in his possession.

A replica of the Storefronts building will be constructed beside the Print Shop commencing in 2015. This new addition will display the textile and millinery collections, the stove, cobbler and harness making/repair collections of Fanshawe Pioneer Village historic Rotary Office and house a functioning tinsmith.
